Feature Benefit
Project Management
  • Provide Project and general ledgers and job visibility and close the loop between accounting and operations side of the business from project award, materials planning, procurement, manufacturing to customer delivery.
  • Analyze performance across multiple jobs with complex procedures and unique exceptions. Ensure the ability to make informed decisions, avoid delays, increase production efficiency and lower costs.
Multi-Level Bill Of Materials
  • Generate multilevel bills of material structures for production and procurement planning, costing and configuration requirements.
  • Engineering and manufacturing functions provide fully indented and summarized bills of material and where-used inquiries and reports.
Configuration Tracking
  • Complete product configuration and revision tracking as well as tight. Change Control history using Engineering Change Notices
Planning and Procurement
  • Inventories and production may be planned by project, or by a netting group of projects allowing for optimization of the production floor. Inventory may be purchased directly to the project or for a common inventory.
  • Auto-generate purchase requisitions by customer orders, inventory stock levels, or materials requirements planning. Purchase requisitions assigned by project with electronic approvals.
  • The procurement activity may be grouped across project or split by project, Inventory and manufacturing orders are planned and scheduled by project or across projects utilizing netting groups.
Manufacturing, Routing and Production
  • Ability to manufacture by project or common stock. Complete support of raw materials, work in process and finished goods including overhead application, labor costs, subcontract costs and materials costs.
  • Generate the routing steps required to manufacture a given part. Routing operations can be associated with internal work centers, labor operations and outside subcontractor operations.
  • Enter rate labor and costs standards as well maintain alternate routings, operations and work centers.
Managing Quality
  • Control stringent quality processes that require detailed records with audit trail, including time stamps and electronic signatures, in accordance with DFAR Parts 209, 217, and 246. Certification of ISO 9000 depends on having a fully documented and controlled quality control system. This includes all data collected throughout incoming quality inspection, shop floor quality Inspection, material disposition and material review board processes.
Materials Requirements Planning and Master Production Scheduling
  • Materials Requirements Planning and Advanced Scheduling and Planning are utilized to monitor deviations from the existing, plan with regard to materials availability and resource scheduling.
  • Generate and track planned manufacturing orders and purchase requisitions based on independent demands, inventory status, on order quantities and bill of material (BOM) information.
  • Provide action messages for planners for new orders and changes to existing orders based on changes in supply and demand.
  • Generate finite capacity schedules based on the actual loaded capacity of any given facility
  • Make informed decisions about impact of additional jobs, rush jobs, bottlenecks on the floor and overtime requirements through use of real-time progress-tracking visual indicators
  • Estimate "what-if" scenarios while using "drag and drop" functionality that allow the user to reschedule and prioritize orders
  • Make informed decisions capital investments, labor requirements and resource allocation
  • Reduce lead time while increasing throughput
Engineering Change Notice
  • Generate, control and implement engineering changes to parts, documents, BOM's and routings through a user-defined approval process that interfaces with Workflow
